Ride Arizona Motorcycle Training Centers- Course Information
Refunds/ Rescheduling:
• Cancellations will be subject to a 15% administrative fee.
• 5 -10 days prior to course date, 50% will be refunded.
• 2- 4 days prior to course date, 25% will be refunded.
• 1 day prior to course date, no refund of tuition.
• Rescheduling 5- 10 days there is no fee.
• Rescheduling 3- 4 days is subject to a $50 fee.
• Rescheduling 2 business days is subject to a $75 fee.Forfeiture of Tuition
• Any participant who fails to attend their scheduled course without call to Ride Arizona MTC prior to their start time will forfeit 100% of the tuition paid.
If Ride Arizona MTC should cancel any course a rescheduling fee will not apply.
Where to go:
Locations varies, studnets will be sent directions on the location that they registered for.
Required Protective Riding GearYou will be required to wear the following motorcycle riding gear for all on-cycle sessions.
Helmet- 3/4 or full face.
MUST meet current U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and be in excellent condition.
If you do not have a helmet or yours does not meet standard; Ride Arizona MTC will provide one during the course.
Gloves:
MUST be full fingered gloves.
If you have your own full fingered gloves, please bring them with you.
If you do not have gloves; Ride Arizona MTC will provide a pair during riding.
Eye Protection:
Glasses, goggles or if you have a face shield on your helmet then that will be okay as well.
Long-sleeved shirt and/ or jacket.Sturdy long leg pants:
Such as jeans. No sweat or tights or alike are acceptable.
Boots or over the ankle shoes:
No high heels, platforms or canvas shoes.
MUST cover your ankles; be free from dangling straps or laces and provide support and protection.
NO REFUNDS –YOU WILL BE SENT HOME IF NOT PROPLEY DRESSED
Be Prepared
• You must have currently practiced bicycling skills
• You must be physically able to walk/push a 300lbs motorcycle
• You must be at least 15 years 7 months of age Riding a motorcycle, and participation in a RiderCourse, requires physical stamina, motor coordination and mental alertness.
Be sure you get a good night’s sleep before all class dates.
Do not drink any beverage or take any medication or drug that may impair your ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.If you are under a doctor’s care or have any physical or mental condition which could affect your ability to operate a motor vehicle safely, PLEASE tell the Rider Coach prior to the start of your course.
Failure to complete a course due to a medical condition; which the training facility Ride Arizona MTC was not aware of, is the result of your tuition.
We will ride in both sun and rain so bring sun block and or rain gear to be prepared.
If you should get hungry before we break for lunch; please bring snacks if needed.
Be Prompt It is best to arrive 15 minutes before all classes (classroom/ riding).
We need to start on time. If you should be more than 7 minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule and be charged for a rescheduling fee.
We are sometimes subject to weather or unforeseen conditions, so leave yourself at least 1 hour leeway at the end of the training day.
Course Completion
The State of Arizona and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation requires 100% attendance of all RiderCourse sessions in order to successfully complete the course. You will be required to demonstrate an on-cycle skilled evaluation test as well as passing a written knowledge test to attain a completion card.
There may come a time where either you or the Rider Coach may drop you from the course; this is done in two ways:
1) You are operating in an unsafe manner
2) Or you are not meeting MSF course evaluation guidelines When this is the case, there will be n o refund of tuition and you will not be able to participate in the riding sessions.
As mention above we cannot guarantee your success. You will have to call the office on Monday.
No class space is reserved until it has been paid for. Class space will not be reserved solely on the basis of a telephone call.
